Clear, transparent terms governing consultancy fees, cancellation rights, and explicit differentiation between advisory charges and external university or government fees.
At FEN Global Consultants ("FEN Global", "we", "our", or "us"), we operate with high standards of ethical transparency regarding all financial matters. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which consultancy service fees (where charged) may be canceled or refunded, and explicitly outlines fees that are non-refundable or held by third parties.
International education processes involve two distinct categories of fees. It is vital for applicants to understand which fees are administered by FEN Global and which are paid directly to external institutions:
Many of FEN Global's initial profile evaluations and general consultations are provided free of cost. Where specialized or premium administrative packages are agreed upon in writing:
Fees paid directly to universities, examination bodies, testing centers, or government immigration departments. FEN Global does not hold, manage, or refund these payments:
Where a student has contracted FEN Global for paid advisory packages or premium counseling services, the following refund rules apply:
If the student formally cancels the engagement in writing within seven (7) calendar days of payment and before any counseling, document audits, or university applications have commenced, they are eligible for a refund of the advisory fee minus a nominal administrative processing charge (10% or bank transaction fees).
Once initial profile assessments, customized university shortlisting, SOP editing, or portal submissions have begun, advisory fees become non-refundable. This reflects the professional labor, counselor hours, and proprietary resources dedicated to the applicant.
Advisory fees are strictly non-refundable under any of the following circumstances:
When you pay a tuition fee deposit or course advance directly to a university, that money is held entirely by the educational institution under their institutional refund policy.
If an applicant is refused a student visa on genuine grounds (and not due to fraud), most international universities refund the tuition deposit minus their administrative fee (typically £100–£500 or equivalent).
In such unfortunate events, FEN Global counselors provide dedicated, free-of-charge assistance to help the student prepare, document, and submit their formal tuition refund claim directly to the university finance department.
Government visa filing fees and Immigration Health Surcharges (IHS) are paid directly to destination governments (e.g., UK Visas and Immigration, VFS Global, Australian Department of Home Affairs, etc.).
